PhotonStar’s Marketing Communications Director, Fenella Frost, recently met with Greg Barker MP at London super studio Westminster hub to receive his congratulations for their recent DECC energy entrepreneurs fund grant success.
The minister was keen to learn more about the award-winning company and discuss the £300k+ grant, which is being used to further develop ChromaWhite smart circadian retrofit LED lighting solutions, particularly PhotonStar’s ChromaWhite smart lamp; a standard lamp form factor with full wireless control.
Fenella, along with another successful applicant from the Energy Entrepreneurs Fund, accompanied the minister on a tour of the Westminster Hub during their meeting, and participated in a networking session with Hub members whose companies have a low carbon interest. Launched in October 2011, the Hub Westminster is a development dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and change-makers drive the impact economy.
The meeting, which ran from 3pm until 4pm on Thursday 20th of June, serves as great recognition for the energy and climate change grant; a key step forward for future of PhotonStar and its flagship technology ChromaWhite.
